Will Smith hits Chris Rock on stage, then wins an Oscar.
that was a CNN headline.
I find it strange that Will Smith was seen clearly laughing at the GI Jane joke, then he storms the stage and slaps Chris Rock.
I think Chris was the bigger man here in the way he handled being bitch slapped.

will smith is a sociopath and a lunatic. he is no angel. he's good at acting like he is. his real acting sucks, but the way person he pretends to be is a great performance.
I like some of his movies like MIB, he is a good actor, Clearly he is controlled by his wife.
I wondwr if he'll be man enough to appologize Chris Rock.

media is saying that he apologized to chris rock.
all he did was issue a statement late in the day.

Jim Carrey bashes everyone who stood up for Will Smith after his Oscar win, calling it shameless.
Jim Carrey Sickened Will Smith Got Standing Ovation at Oscars: I Would Have Sued Him for $200 Million.
then pizer is doing the alopecia shit. media is working that angle.
chris rock sits back and shuts up. his tickets went from 40 bucks to 350.. this is is a fact.

Someone found a clip of Will Smith heckling a band member on a late night show because of his bald head, then adding "Hey, it's a joke!"
He wasn't pissed until his wife was put out by the joke, then he overcompensated, that's my theory.
I think Chris was the bigger man here in the way he handled being
bitch slapped.
If he were a couple of years younger, and in a comedy club I think he would have followed the "keep my wife's name out of your f*cking mouth!" with a massive burn, following with a quick dash off-stage.
I wonder if it had been someone like Dwayne (the Rock) Johnson hosting the oscars and doing the GI Jane joke if Will would have slapped him.

there is only a slight height difference. chris rock and will smith are the same weight pretty much.
i thought will smith was a giant, but he's just 6'2
actors always have huge heads and small stature.
if he would have slapped me i would have dropped him on his head.

We are unlikely to see it since Dwayne has no hair on his head, and therefore he is quite unlikely to anger anybody with jokes about bald people...

Will Smith probably wouldn't hit the Rock, If the Rock had made that
joke as an Oscar host I'm sure Will Smith would have just let it slide.
I am playing both sides of this. Chris Rock definitely went too far
we really need to have more comedians hosting these shows? Will Smith was laughing until he saw his wife scowl; that's when he reacted.
if she never did anything, he would've just left it. It would've been
better if he would've just yelled something at Chris instead of gone up on stage and slapped him. Assault doesn't look good and even if Chris doesn't request charges to be made against Will, ultimately, the court of public opinion has already been made.

I would just sue him, I can take an ass whooping for a few million :)

they are going to talk about that bulshit for the rest of his life. he should sue him. it might cost him some work in the future.
another thing that came out is they are flip flopping on if they told him to leave or not.

Maybe, but comedians seem to go for the cheap laughs at everyones expense.
My question is did Chris know that Jada has alopecia?
Even bald I think she looks great! just MHO.
we really need to have more comedians hosting these shows? Will Smith was laughing until he saw his wife scowl; that's when he reacted.
I agree.
I personally never watch the Oscar's or any of those kind of shows, I
saw it on youtube that sunday night.

Yes I heard he may or may not have been politley asked to leave, who knows what the truth is?

Ahh, Hollywood double standards. If he slapped a woman, or even thought of doing so, he would be cancelled.
Jada's alopecia was public knowledge and made it through the tabloids, etc. Yes, I fully agree, she looks great bald. Yet, some women, especially those sensitive about hairloss, will immediately go on the defensive about it. I think the audience, as a whole, knew about her hairloss but I feel that, once again, knowing your audience (Chris Rock) and timing (Oscars) is critical for comedic delivery.
another thing that came out is they are flip flopping on if they
told him to leave or not.

behind the 'stars' are where the publicists sit.
those people hashed it out. i heard they coudnt come to an agreement.
but i heard the top 2 people who were not there said to have him leave.
then it was announced that he was asked to leave and would not.
the other day tmz says they have an insider who said that didn't happen.

I think he should be punished, I also think he should apologize to Chris Rock.
Chris could sue him and easily win a settlement, I don't think he'll do it though.
... Computers are not intelligent. They only think they are.
He may end up being punished in a way. I hear he may not be as popular in Hollywood, and this may affect future prospects.
I wouldn't press charges, not for a slap, unless I thought that person was a future danger, which I think in this case, Will Smith is not.

it will always be mentioned in future interviews.

The medical condition may not have even been known... it was a joke
about a woman cutting all her hair off. Regardless of the joke, the response was in poor taste. Also, generally speaking at award shows, anyone in the audience is considered fair game for the host. It's not
a full on roast, but there are always roast-like jokes.

The latest conspiracy theory is that it's all staged; Pfizer is a sponsor of the awards and has an alopecia drug on the market.
Of course, it's all moose biscuits.

i dont even think the bitch has alopecia.
i think her hairline is fucked up from tight braids. her shaved head looks fine. she doesnt have any missing patches.
Here is a picture that is kind of funny.

I think she has something going on, in an interview I read she had clumps of hair falling out in the shower.
Regardless she looks great with a bald head.

Not exactly a disability. I'm not going to get a disabled car sticker.
My hair is starting to fall out a bit, but not nearly as much as my brother.
regardless, it's a medical condition that may leave the person who has it being uncomfortable in public or feels shamed or has negative feelings about it.

i think it's a great idea. they should roast all those rich, self important people. it's better than having them stand up and give a speech about some african country starving.
