That's pretty cool. I'm in to game consoles. New and old. I also got into using openEMU on my OSX allowing me to play numerous titles from the 80s and 90s.
I've often used emulators on various platforms to play old games I used to like to play. A few years ago, I found there had been a Kickstarter-funded open-source handheld game console that could run emulators (along with native games developed for it) called GCW Zero:

I decided to buy one. I think it's pretty fun.. And being open-source, it isn't bound by any restrictions that other device manufacturers have for their devices (no lockdown on approved apps that Apple does for iOS, no need to hack it to install more things, etc.). One thing I realized is that since it's a handheld, it's hard to do multiplayer with the console emulators (at least, there isn't an easy way I know of), but that's not a big deal to me. I had seen some emulators for Windows that let you play multiplayer via the internet, and I think that would be a cool feature for the emulators on this device. It looks like the emulators available haven't been updated by the developers in a while though.
