I have to admit, I wasn't sure if I was going to like the world of BBS... though I started getting online in the early 90s, I missed being a part of the BBS scene.

Now that I've learned a bit more, I'm becoming comfortable. I hope to make some friends along the way.

    Happy to be here :)

Lots of friends here - and probably some from when you were in the scene in the 90s!

Welcome! :) I hope you enjoy it.

I also know some people who missed being part of the BBS scene in the 90s.. I ran my own BBS from 1994 to 2000, and in 1994 I told one of my friends I was running a BBS and he said "What's a BBS?"

You know, running a board is just as easy as a web page. Even can bee fun. Now adays, with light speed services, someone can
run a bbs with no phone line! Some old beeps have a place in the stars, but are you kidding me? Forget it and get echo mail served to
you on a buiilitain board. Sign up for echos you like to watch, and there is inough information to become knoledgeable .
