Typical headphones interfere with my glasses and they get uncomfortable, whi is why I use a monocle with the headphones. I am sure it looks hypster as he but who cares.

how can headphones mess with your glasses. they are on two different parts of your head.
and why would you use a monocle instead of glasses.

"Can" headphones always made my ears hot and clammy. I've gotten used
to earbuds with memory foam tips - they expand to better block out
noise, but they're softer than nylon tips.
Glasses have those arms that go back and somewhat wrap around your ears. Headphones could press on those.

My dad lost the vision in one eye in later years. I always thought he

If you ever try to go shooting with ear muzzles and glasses at the same time you will realize the glasses negate the effect of the muzzles because they prevent the ear protection from sealing well around your ear. If your glasses are any bulky I can assure you it will get uncomfortable after a moderate amount of time.

Er, shooting without eye protection is monumentally stupid, bud.
I have no issues wearing glasses and over-the-ear protection when shooting. Sounds like you just need better muffs.
