What happens when you start typing? Are the characters not appearing on the screen when you type?

This sounds like a fixed short-lived bug in v3.20a (in development) in the parsing of ctrl/main.ini.

Have you not updated since March 20?

If you are current, then just increase the maximum inactivity value in SCFG->Servers->Terminal->Max Login Inactivity.

If you're connecting to a Telnet port (instead of the PETSCII-80 port, e.g. TCP port 64), then you might be subjected to the "dumb terminal" (robot) detection login in exec/login.js which reduces the inactivity timeout to the inactive_hangup value set in modopts.ini:
    http://wiki.synchro.net/module:login

Increasing that value would eliviate that situation (or just connect to the PETSCII port instead).

    I installed synchronet in april.
I will see the development page.
