• SSL certificate

From dustinnulf@VERT to All on Mon Mar 11 13:50:08 2024
I have recently purchased an SSL certificate from my web hosting company.

For Synchronet, I see there is a tool (https://wiki.synchro.net/module:certtool), but would like to see more examples of how to use it.

To start (and for newbies like myself), what is a 'CSR' ?

    Thanks,
    Dustin

The author of that isn't here, but he does hang out in #synchronet at irc.synchro.net

There is a Synchronet wiki entry covering this. All you have to do is delete the 2 cert files from your /ctr directory and restart. Synchronet will magically make 2 new ssl cert files. Worked for me.
