Can he sing? Can he dance? Can he entertain us? We hired an actor

The call to prayer is beautiful, especially since it is always
chanted in Arabic - the archaic form that nobody understands.

Catholics also find the call to prayer beautiful, especially since
it is always chanted in Latin - the archaic form that only a small
handful of hardcore enthusiasts can understand.

Not sure what kind of prayer Congregationalists chant, but I am
sure Rev. Jeremiah Wright taught him well.

The list of public performances at the White House is not "lefty
crap" but real facts that can be easily independently verified by
anybody who wants to take the time to do so.

The fact that there have been no public performances (arts and music)
at the White House during the Trump administration is irrefutable.

However, Donald Trump may have enjoyed a number of *private*
performances at the White House. Which is something the Congress
might want to ask Stormy Daniels about during her testimony ...

In all honestly, that a politician is to be persecuted because
he is not organizing concerts is disturbing.

Like people does not have ideas to soil the reputation of this
guy and has to resort to childish banter about organizing
colourful public performances. Which really means something
because Trump is controversial enough to be able to talk trash
about him without having to resort to "My candidate is better

    and yours don't!"

    Hello Richard,

In all honestly, that a politician is to be persecuted because
he is not organizing concerts is disturbing.

Up until Donald Trump, every single president (other than George
Washington) has invited artists and musicians for public performances
    at the White House -

    https://www.whitehousehistory.org/music-and-musical-performances- in-the-white-house-timeline

Like people does not have ideas to soil the reputation of this
guy and has to resort to childish banter about organizing
    colourful public performances.

It is not about "organizing colourful public performances"
but rather a matter of being invited.

Which really means something because Trump is controversial enough to be
able to talk trash about him without having to resort to "My candidate is better than yours because my candidate organized public performances and yours don't!"

Every president evokes an emotional response from people, whether
in a good way or in a bad way. But every president *except* Trump
has invited artists and musicians for public performances.

It may be true that Trump has invited artists and/or musicians for
*private* performances at the White House, such as birthday parties,
retirement parties, Christmas parties, etc. However, word gets
around quite fast in Washington, DC. And it is impossible for any
politician to keep a secret for longer than a few hours.

To be quite honest, I think Trump is in love with the sound of his
own voice. And with himself being the only person invited to give
such public (and sometimes private) performances ...

The hardest working president in US history? You really have got
to be kidding me. Between tweets, watching television, and playing
golf, what else does he do (aside from sleeping)?

The job of president is about far more than making photo ops.
He was hired to do a job, and has failed miserably in every way
possible. It is not about himself, but about "we the people".

    Hello Greg,

    [..]

Yes, he has tweeted so much it has become the national joke :)

Of course this what the left sees, but it was reveled today on the Rush >Limbaugh show by a caller who has gone to all 23 Trump Rallies and has
    unique
insight on the matter, as she has spoken to many thousands people who attend >them, she has indicated that the people on the right like his tweets because >the communication comes directly from the President, without all that static >from questionable lefty fake news like pMS NBC and CNN and other main stream >media that is the drive by's

Putting on a show for his diminishing base is not what I would call
an accomplishment by any sitting president.

The job of president is about far more than making photo ops.
He was hired to do a job, and has failed miserably in every way
possible. It is not about himself, but about "we the people".

Don't take my word for it.

Diminishing, I'll tell you what, you go on believing that, write it down and stick on the fridge - so you don't forget. Don't change a thing having a different opinion, when the totals come in and Trump is re-elected you will first in line at the Wal*Mart getting your Crayola Crayons.

The hardest working president in US history? You really have got
to be kidding me. Between tweets, watching television, and playing
golf, what else does he do (aside from sleeping)?

All presidents have taken time to play golf. Obama made time for golf and
even squeezed in some late night TV appearances, where he found it funny to mock the special olympics.

And watching TV (news) is essential for the military. (He is the commander in chief.) Command posts have about 4 TVs on 24/7, in case anything urgent makes it to the news before coming to the attention of the command post.

Pass a resolution to force the president to invite artists and
musicians to give public performances at the White House? I doubt
that will happen anytime soon. If ever. :)

They took a vote on "Is the president racist," so why not vote on other silly stuff too?

I would find it hilarious if Willie Nelson would show up as an
invited guest. But hey. You never know ...

Obama had Jay Z there, as a friend, or for a performance? Not everyone likes rap music though, and those who do - they don't all like Jay Z. That's one of the many ways Obama divided the country greatly. Perhaps bigly. :)

People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will
believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will
believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because
they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of
knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they
think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell
the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are
confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.

I dont know how anyone can say for sure, one way or the other how hard Trump works unless you
are there to see it. My kids send more tweets than he does while working and going to school and
that doesnt mean they dont work hard nor that they do.

I will tell you what I believe, I will tell you what I know.

    I believe
    The Democratic Party wants power
    Open Borders
There are many reasons why Open Borders are desired, one such offering
is granting illegals drivers licenses, offering motor/voter registration
where you could check a box to be registered to vote.
There is no certification process to authenticate that you are a American
Citizen. Illegals have no business voting in American elections.
This is a American right and privilege reserved for American citizens.

    Look at Democratic run cities
They are a disaster. w/ High crime, blight nearly everywhere you look.

    What I know.
The Democratic machine has been trying to stop Trump for a very long time,
no matter what they have tried, every attempt has ended in dismal
failure, even with sharing a bed with the Democratic party, they are no
    closer to reaching their goals.
    Economy is doing very well.
Unemployment among women, minorities are at historic lows.

    Hello Greg,

    [..]

I call this a travesty to have such behavior celebrated and accepted as
normal. It's far from normal in a civilized society.

Due to a certain narcissist's smear tactics, my opinions of a certain
sysop who recently passed away have been misrepresented. I find it
"a travesty to have such behavior celebrated and accepted as normal"
by a small handful of his fellow sysops, but really should not have
    been surprised.

Hiding behind closed curtains so that others cannot defend
themselves says *everything* about them (him and his companions).
Their actions alone will bury them.

I am absolutely sure the narcissist has anticipated all that
I might try and say to expose the truth.

However, there is one thing he overlooked -

His smear campaign against me will continue to be ignored.

I will never be silenced. The truth will set me free!

See there? No more cage ...
