Hello Everybody,
Do you believe in the concept of "one man, one vote"?
Apparently not the Framers of the Constution, who chose
to come up with a sytem enabling owners to keep their
slaves by enshrining an electoral college system as
part of the US Constitution. Such was their Christian
way of thinking, many if not all of them owning slaves
themselves. But hey. Let's not impose our own morals
on those who lived in the past. After all, we are much
more civilized today, and know better than to treat
our fellow brethren that way. Or do we?
As a candidate, Donald J. Trump publicly stated he would
prefer a president to be chosen by popular vote rather
than by the electoral college system we currently use.
Today he has changed his tune, claiming the electoral
college system is the greatest thing since Mom and apple
pie. But I digress. We all know why he does not wish
to be judged by "we the people". After all, the last
time he tried to run for office a "nasty woman" beat
his sorry arse by almost three million votes. And he
cannot bear the thought of losing to a woman a second
time. As such, the electoral college system has got
to stay. Right?
Direct democracy is the "will of the people". Nobody
can deny that. But there are still some small remnants
of the population who continue to believe otherwise.
Such as this particular self-proclaimed Christian -

So. No matter how badly Donald J. Trump loses the popular
vote this coming November will make no difference. He will
remain lord and master over all of us, even if he only gets
some 20 percent of the popular vote.
Such is the will of Donald J. Trump.
