I watched the Democrats debate in NH. In case one of these people were to
beat Trump, I'd want to know what I'm in for. Here's what's to be vigilant about:

Pete Buttigieg - He's exploiting illicit drug users, trying to make them feel comfortable about him as their president. Great exploitation skills at work.

Joe Biden - Brags about all his "achievements," but what's he going to achieve now with a Republican controlled Senate & SC?

Bernie Sanders - Wants to eliminate cash-bail nationwide. No thanks! NYers
are sickened by the practice and there's no way the whole country will accept.

Elizabeth Warren - Too bitchy - who wants to listen to that? Crying about
Mike Bloomberg being rich, crying about those exploitable blacks, but not one word about exploiting native americans, which she should - it's her niche.

Tom Steyer - At first he said "None of us are talking about blacks or any
other group." And then 5 minutes later, the whole gang was exploiting black people - they want their votes and idiot Tom Steyer says he wants reparations for blacks. Can the white cracker fool black voters into thinking the senate
or Supreme Court wants to play race politics with this dope?

I guess Lee has been right all along about Amy Klobuchar - she's the best of the worst. She mostly stayed quiet, and when she spoke, she didn't say
anything stupid. I guess she is my best bet for the DNC pick.

    Hello Aaron,

I watched the Democrats debate in NH. In case one of these people were to
beat Trump, I'd want to know what I'm in for.

Good point. Tom Steyer got it right, saying Democrats have
to make their own case, otherwise it will be a lost cause.

Here's what's to be vigilant about:

Pete Buttigieg - He's exploiting illicit drug users, trying to make them
feel comfortable about him as their president. Great exploitation skills at work.

George Soros is his biggest supporter. Bernie Sanders called him
out yesterday, for accepting donations from billionaires. And Biden
called him out on stage at the NH debate, saying Mayor Pete is no
Obama. Will it matter to voters in NH? According to the lastest
poll, Sanders has 28% to Buttigieg 21%. Biden is now in 5th place,
at 11%, and continuing to drop.

Joe Biden - Brags about all his "achievements," but what's he going to
achieve now with a Republican controlled Senate & SC?

What the makeup will be in the Senate has not yet been determined.
Dems could be riding a signinificant blue wave. Or none at all.
However, with Biden having had a poor showing in Iowa, and likely
another poor showing in NH, he may not even make it to Nevada or
South Carolina. Could be lights out, go home baby.

Bernie Sanders - Wants to eliminate cash-bail nationwide. No thanks! NYers
are sickened by the practice and there's no way the whole country will accept.

The country gladly accepted FDR. And voted him in office four
times. Would have kept voting for him forever but nobody lives
    forever ...

Elizabeth Warren - Too bitchy - who wants to listen to that? Crying about
Mike Bloomberg being rich, crying about those exploitable blacks,
but not one word about exploiting native americans, which she should - it's
    her niche.

Klobuchar has passed her in the NH polls. James Carville ranted
on MSNBC what Warren is doing to turn people off. She needs to go
back to reminding folks who she is, the working class mom who went
back to school, etc. rather than the techie person who has a plan
    for everything.

Tom Steyer - At first he said "None of us are talking about blacks or any
other group." And then 5 minutes later, the whole gang was exploiting black people - they want their votes and idiot Tom Steyer says he wants
reparations for blacks. Can the white cracker fool black voters into
thinking the senate or Supreme Court wants to play race politics with this dope?

He is running a decent race, but folks are just now getting to know
him. And he does not have any political experience, never having been
elected to public office. He does claim to be a diehard progressive,
and is saying the right words to those in that crowd. How many will
believe him remains to be seen.

I guess Lee has been right all along about Amy Klobuchar - she's the best of
the worst. She mostly stayed quiet, and when she spoke, she didn't say anything stupid. I guess she is my best bet for the DNC pick.

More right than you and others might think -

    https://emersonpolling.reportablenews.com/

Klobuchar now ahead of Warren, taking straight aim
at Sanders and Buttigieg. Notice Biden is dropping
like a rock. Now in 5th place in New Hampshire, and
still crashing. The rest are in single digits and
    don't really matter.

All that talk about finding dirt on Joe Biden?
The president really has been barking up the wrong tree.

    This is Trump's worst nightmare.
    Hillary Clinton without the emails.

    Let the games begin.

I haven't one of these, because I know in advance that they do not represent >the America that I believe in or want to live in.

Most voters rejected Trump in favor of Clinton in the 2016 election.
Almost 3 million more voters. And yet, 100 million voters never
bothered showing up at the polls. Mayor Pete is getting lots of those
voters to turn out for him, as shown in the Iowa caucus. And Bernie
Sanders is getting even more of those voters than Mayor Pete.

at> Pete Buttigieg - He's exploiting illicit drug users, trying to make them

Through out American history there has always been a First Lady, what will
    we
have no the First Man, because Pete is gay?

First Gentleman. Mayor Pete said it himself.

Joe Biden - Brags about all his "achievements," but what's he going to >at>achieve now with a Republican controlled Senate & SC?

Had this man for 8 years as VP for 8 years, what did he accomplish, more to
    a
point what has he accomplished with his time in government?

Quite a lot. But his time has passed. Seems voters are more
interested in candidates who bring something new, or different,
to the table. Bernie Sanders is a self-described socialist,
and Mayor Pete is openly gay. So, there you go. Both of them
are bringing something new and different for all.

Bernie Sanders - Wants to eliminate cash-bail nationwide. No thanks! >at>NYers are sickened by the practice and there's no way the whole country >at>will accept.

No words really NO socialist should ever be allowed to be the President.
How can he promise to defend and follow constitution if he is a socialist.

We have a president who believes in "socialism for the wealthy" -
and has shown it by showering his friends with huge tax breaks to
prove it. Bernie wants to expand this program so that everybody
can share the wealth. That is why it is medicare for all, not
just for some or just the wealthy. And college tuition should
also be free. And everything else that comes to mind.

Elizabeth Warren - Too bitchy - who wants to listen to that?

    Right.

Oh, she has a plan for everything ...

    Hello Aaron,

    This is Trump's worst nightmare.
    Hillary Clinton without the emails.

Trump would destroy any of these candidates in debates.

I doubt Trump will agree to debate any candidate who wins the
Democratic nomination. Or any other candidate who wins the
nomination of any other party. He is a poor debater, as shown
in his debates with Hillary Clinton. Why would he want to make
himself look bad against an even better debater?

Stuttering Joe will try to brag about his experience,

I doubt Biden will make it past Nevada and South Carolina.

nobody will know what Yang is even talking about,

New Hampshire is likely Yang's last hurrah.

    Pokey Pete will sound sleazy,

Mayor Pete is sounding absolutely delightful to George Soros.

Awful Amy will be too generic and unspecific,

"Hi, Bernie people" is how she greeted Sanders supporters
who tried to disrupt her at an event in New Hampshire. The
crowd roared its approval. Tracking polls in New Hampshire
have her at 14 percent, and climbing, trailing only Mayor
Pete and Bernie Sanders. Can she win? You betcha!

and the Orange One will prevail,

Joe Walsh dropped out after the Iowa caucus, leaving only
Bill Weld to contest the Republican nomination against Trump.

and we'll continue to reap the profits.

The USA is going bankrupt due to Trump's policies.

I don't see it that way at all. I saw Trump crushing Hillary in the debates, with Trump being specific about what he was going to work on, and Hillary
being vague like she'd already been hired for the job, but was already
planning her vacation. I'm confident that Trump will be willing to debate, and will prove his case better than any of these Dems, including the barely impressive Amy.

It's a good sign that she's got Bernie's people's attention, but she hasn't offered anything to us that we need yet. She's been pretty vague, which is a fatal mistake when/if she debates with Trump. "We need to unite this divided country! We need to provide equal opportunities for African Americans!" <- That's a bunch of junk.

Divided how? Who's divided? Conservatives vs liberals? What else is new?
Black people need more help than anyone else? How is that? That makes no
sense. "The black community" is another ridiculous statement that she makes. Last I heard, we're not segregated anymore, so what's the black community?

    impressive Amy.

A candidate cannot "win" a debate. But he/she can lose a debate.
The idea is not to make a mistake so bad as to doom a campaign.
Walter Mondale's quip about raising taxes made his campaign the
shortest in US history. George HW Bush looking at his watch made
himself look bad, and doomed his chances against Slick Willie.
Al Gore sighing on stage next to GWB made himself look bad, and
would have been worse had GWB not made mistakes of his own.

Hillary Clinton had a better resume than Donald Trump. But
she was not Bill Clinton. And not really a good debater. Had
it not been for her debates with Bernie Sanders during the
Democratic primaries, her debating skills would have been
    virtually non-existent.

Trump did not make any glaring mistakes against Clinton.
But that does not mean he is a good debater. Bill Clinton
would have torn him up. But he was facing Hillary, who did
not have the same skill set.

Bill Clinton could made his harshest critic believe he was right.
The best Hillary Clinton could do was say she was not wrong.

Donald Trump just makes stuff up on the fly and pretends it is
right. And then repeats the lie over and over again until everybody
believes the lie as gospel truth, his two most famous words being
    "Believe me!"

"Hi, Bernie people" is how she greeted Sanders supporters
who tried to disrupt her at an event in New Hampshire. The

It's a good sign that she's got Bernie's people's attention, but she hasn't >offered anything to us that we need yet. We need to provide equal opportunities for African Americans!" <- >That's a bunch of junk.

She has class. And is quick-witted. Uses humor with great effect.
If Biden fades, as expected, voters will flock to her camp.

Sanders needs a crowded field in order to win the nomination.
Bloomberg needs an exit by Biden to make that happen. That is
why Bloomberg decided to wait until Super Tuesday in order to
    compete.

However, if Klobuhar replaces Biden, that screws the pooch for
Bloomberg. And also Buttigieg, who is only a novelty candidate
rather than someone with real experience.

Tom Steyer is interesting, as he is gaining support among
African Americans, as noted in South Carolina polls. It is
possible he could even win the state.

Divided how? Who's divided? Conservatives vs liberals? What else is new? >Black people need more help than anyone else? How is that? That makes no >sense. "The black community" is another ridiculous statement that she makes. >Last I heard, we're not segregated anymore, so what's the black community?

A large segment of the population in South Carolina is African
American. Without strong support from African Americans, a candidate
has no realistic chance of winning.

I'll be back later - I'm gonna go visit the black community, and I'm gonna
help them because I feel so sorry for them. LOL

Larry Bird used to be a waiter at restaurants in Indiana.
This was when he was going to school, long before he became
famous playing the game he loved. In order to get better,
he would go out of his way to find the best players to play
against. That meant hitting the streets, finding a court
to play on, where players you never find in school can
be found. And they taught him how to really play the game.

So, who was helping who? The white guy who needed help
in order to get better? Or the black guys who gave him all
the help he could ever want or need?

Years later, after his playing days were over, Larry Bird
told the press - "White men can't jump."

He also said most players in the NBA were black. That comment
drew a lot of criticism from sportscasters and the like.
But the statistics are there for all to see. He was right.

The point I am getting at is this. In order to become
good at whatever you do, you have to work at it. And those
who become professional basketball players worked very hard
to get where they are. Whether black, white, brown, yellow,
or whatever race they may be.

There is only one other white player who was able to play
basketball as good as black players. Actually two players.
And both of them played basketball at LSU.

    "Pistol" Pete Maravich was one.
He never played in the NCAA tournament,
but did play in the NIT tournament.
I forget the other player's name,
but did play in the NCAA tournament.
"Magic" Johnson said he was the best white
player who he ever played against.

The USA is going bankrupt due to Trump's policies.

How? Is this a MSNBC breaking story? I don't get that channel.

Trump is so abysmal he has cut the pay for federal employees.
Rather than get a 2.5% increase in pay, he cut it to 1%.
Why? Because his great economony of his is having a crisis.

I'm afraid you've got a bad case of TDS. Trump has a horrible downstate

Tom Steyer is interesting, as he is gaining support among

Hmm, could that have anything to do with his offer of "Reparations for the black community?" How could they not vote for that? And doesn't that interesting genius think before he speaks? He's on a path towards racial warfare. Anyone tasked with having to argue the reparations for blacks is
going to sound racist, and it's not just something that politicians will be talking about; everybody and their mother will be "debating" it as well,
thanks to "White Uncle Tom." It's not going to be pretty!!

A large segment of the population in South Carolina is African

So then candidates need to manipulate aka exploit them then? Make them feel like they're entitled to stuff that people of other races are not entitled to? Have you ever noticed that Republicans don't do that? Republicans want to appeal to ALL americans - not just the ones they need votes from! And many of them, Trump included, don't just want to appeal to niche races of people, they actually want to help people.

You're trying to have a pleasant dip in the pool, but you're swimming with alligators, mosquitoes, and other harmful creatures! Help us out Lee - vote Republican. That way you share in the joy of helping others, and yourself.

    Hello Aaron,

Donald Trump just makes stuff up on the fly and pretends it is
right. And then repeats the lie over and over again until everybody

    Not once have I ever felt cheated by a Republican in office;

We had Piyush "Bobby" Jindal as governor, who gave away free money
to a private group of individuals to put on a country music festival
at LSU football stadium. That was a cheat. This private group of
individuals walked away with $1 million of state funds to put on
a show in which they made a *profit* of over $50 million. That was
after costs and expenses. They came back to Jindal, year after
year, always asking for more state funds to put on their show -
their "threat" being to take their show elsewhere. You know what
I call that? Extortion. Government should not be in the business
    of funding private business.

but I have been betrayed by Obama(D),

GWB lied us into a war with Iraq. An unnecessary war. How many
American lives were lost in that endeavor? And to think we are still
there, stuck in Iraq, to this very day.

lied to by my state assemblywoman(D),

It could be all your fault. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
And if you did what she thought you did, you are toast. Believe me,
    you are toast.

    punished by my governor(D),

You are lucky not to have been on the other end of his twin brother.

tortured by a family court judge(D),

All your fault. Shoulda declared bankruptcy long before going there.
That way, plenty of nothin' still amounts to nothin' at all. But no.
You got greedy. And got left with nothin' ...

Billy Preston had it right long ago. Nothin' from
nothin' is nothin'. You gotta have somethin' ...

and threatened by all these democratic presidential candidates(Ds) who are
taunting me with their support for open borders, medicare for the entire world, and bail reform.

Mike Bloomberg is a Republican turned Independent turned Democrat
turned whatever he becomes next. No telling what his position might
be from one day to the next. Joe Biden is for Obamacare with an
upgrade, namely Obamacare plus a public option. Amy Klobuchar has
basically the same position. Pete Buttigieg is trying to have it
both ways, saying he is both for and against Obamacare, while also
being both for and against Medicare for All. Elizabeth Warren used
to be for Medicare for All, but has changed her position to Medicare
not yet for All. Bernie Sanders has always been Medicare for All
    in the Whole Wide World.

Bill Gates is for open borders, but I have no idea what his party
affiliation is or might be. He says those who are able to find
jobs will stay, and those who are unable to find jobs will return
to wherever they came from. And all will be fine.

Of course, it is only natural that every criminal in the world
should be released, thus saving the state the cost of housing and
feeding them and providing health care for them, etc. This would
also be a boon for gun manufacturers, who are running out of folks
    to sell guns to.

I'm afraid you've got a bad case of TDS. Trump has a horrible downstate
accent, orange skin, and he grabs women by the vagina - all that stuff is incredibly annoying to many Americans. However, you have to eat some
garbage for lunch, sometimes, in order to have steak and lobster for
    dinner.

Cajuns eat crawfish, especially during Mardi Gras. Kind of
like tiny lobsters, only better. Anyway, an easy way to solve
the problem of a president who is a self-admitted sexual
predator is to elect an openly gay man as president. That
would definitely solve the problem of having a president who
likes to grab women where the sun don't shine.

OTOH, I am not sure I would want to be standing next to him
at a public urinal during a football game ...

Tom Steyer is interesting, as he is gaining support among
African Americans, as noted in South Carolina polls. It is

Hmm, could that have anything to do with his offer of "Reparations for the >black community?" How could they not vote for that? And doesn't that >interesting genius think before he speaks? He's on a path towards racial >warfare. Anyone tasked with having to argue the reparations for blacks is >going to sound racist, and it's not just something that politicians will be >talking about; everybody and their mother will be "debating" it as well, >thanks to "White Uncle Tom." It's not going to be pretty!!

Donald Trump is not going to receive many black votes this November.
Even though he has the money, their votes cannot be bought. In order
to win their vote, a candidate has to kneel. And trust me, he will
never take a knee when the national anthem is being played.

A large segment of the population in South Carolina is African >LL>American. Without strong support from African Americans, a candidate >LL>has no realistic chance of winning.

So then candidates need to manipulate aka exploit them then? Make them feel
like they're entitled to stuff that people of other races are not entitled to?

Obama understood black folks better than they understood themselves.
He knew what they wanted because he was one of them. Everything ought
to be free. Not just some things. And not just for white people. It
had to be everything. Especially for blacks. After all, it is blacks
who built this country. The very buildings the Congress meets in.
Black folks should be rewarded for everything they have done for this
country. From the moment they arrived on our shores.

Have you ever noticed that Republicans don't do that? Republicans want to
appeal to ALL americans - not just the ones they need votes from!

How can Republicans expect blacks to vote for them if they continue
to vote against their interests? If Republicans want black support,
they will have to earn it.

And many of them, Trump included, don't just want to appeal to niche races
of people, they actually want to help people.

That may be true of Republicans (in general). But today, there
are no more Republicans (with the possible exception of Mitt Romney).
What we have today is a group of former Republicans who are now part
of a cult. A cult of personality. That personality being Donald
    J. Trump. They will do whatever monkey says.

You're trying to have a pleasant dip in the pool, but you're swimming with
alligators, mosquitoes, and other harmful creatures!

Donald J. Trump made a campaign promise to "drain the swamp".
Today he is up to his elbows with alligators. Absolutely refuses
to get rid of those with special interests. Big Business can do
whatever it wants, with no oversight. The environment doesn't
matter, as regulations have been overturned. It is business as
usual, just like old times, for this president.

Help us out Lee - vote Republican.

I had a choice, years ago, in an election for governor of Louisiana.

The Republican candidate, David Duke, was a racist.
The Democratic candidate, Edwin Edwards, was a crook.
The incumbent Republican candidate, Buddy Roemer, had
lost in the first primary, so was not in the runoff.

    I voted for the crook.

Even had a bumper sticker on my car -

Vote for the crook - it's important.

    Not that it mattered.

Both candidates wound up going to jail.

But at least Edwards won his fourth (and last) term in office
as governor, rather than the other crook, who had served one term
    as state representative.

That way you share in the joy of helping others, and yourself.

Unfortunately, it does not look likely that Bill Weld will
win the Republican nomination for president.

    Hello Aaron,

    Obama was raised white.

Not really. His biological father was black, but split with his
mother when he was barely two. His step-father was Asian, and raised
him in Indonesia, but split with his mother when he was eleven. Then
he was raised in Hawaii by his grandparents, both of whom were white
beinf from his mother's side. Then his mother died, he finished
high school, and moved to California to begin his studies in higher
    education.

When asked about his race, Barack described himself as a black man.
Not a white man or a yellow man or a brown man or anything but a black
man. Nothing mixed about it. He also proved he was definitely born
    in Hawaii, not Kenya.

Being half and half was an exploitation device for him.

We are all mutts, in a manner of speaking. But we look at ourselves
as being members of a particular community, usually categorized by
race. Every ten years, US citizens are asked to describe themselves
by checking off a box as to what race they are. Please check off one
box, not all that may apply. See how that works?

Funny thing about the census. It is not very accurate. Hispanics
have to choose between two boxes. Hispanics that are white, and
Hispanics that are non-white. This is insane, as Hispanics do not
identify themselves by race, but by language. The same can be said
about Cajuns. But Cajuns do not have to make that choice.

The only races that matter in the US are white, black, and other.
By other means Native American, which do not really count at all.

There's no such thing as "understanding black people." Thanks for
reminding us how racist he is.

We are all racists and bigots. Each and every one of us.
What we do to overcome our own racism and bigotry is up to us.
Both as individuals and a society.

George Wallace never considered himself as being a racist. He claimed
he never said the "N" word in public. What he said in private may be
something entirely different, but he knew what he was saying - both
    in public and in private.

Black folks should be rewarded for everything they have done for LL>this
country. From the moment they arrived on our shores.

It's too late to reward slaves for their hard work.

Most of our early presidents owned slaves. Abraham Lincoln was an
abolitionist twenty years before he became president, but even as
president he never got rid of slavery. Even today slavery remains
legal in the US in the form of prison labor. Truly sick.

I've got bad news for you, and I hope you're sitting down for this. These
hard workers have passed. Many of them due to old age. I also regret to inform you that you've missed their funerals.

All the more reason to build a memorial for slaves. With so many
different memorials in Washington, DC a memorial for slaves would be
    most appropriate.

If you want to honor them now, and I'm totally with you on this, we could
restore their grave sites with some updated tombstones & high-quality landscaping.

Everybody deserves a marker. But do you realize what is being
done for the homeless who die in America? Their bodies are cremated,
and then their ashes scattered to the wind. And then a bill to their
next of kin, if any kin can be found.

What do you think a slave's master gave him/her once that slave
was dead? Remember, slaves were property, not even considered as
being human. Do you think they got a marker? Maybe their owner
just fed them to the dogs, not even bothering with a burial at all.

We kidnapped humans, against their will, and kept them in bondage,
without any rights. We bought and sold them, like merchandise.
And then discarded them, like batteries that had no more juice.

The so-called "underground railroad" was a joke. Slaves would
flee to the north, and then would be re-captured to be resold to
others in the south. Talk about a scam.

Or, if you want to hand out free money to everyone with black skin, then I
    can foresee the good in that too;

Everything ought to be free. And not just for black folks.
Do you feel the Bern? Medicare for All, not just for some.
Gotta Bern a hole in everybody's pocket in order to be free.

the USA will overcrowd with black people seeking money-for-nuthin.

A free lunch is all black people ask.
    Watermelon and chitlins, anyone?

Africa will probably lose 90% of its inhabitants,

Due to ebola or some other disease being a very real possibility.

but I bet I'll sell my house for about 4x the price I paid for it.

Oh, we will have another financial crash long before that happens.
In which case your house will sell for far less than whatever you
    paid for it.

Then I can move to Sudan, or the Congo, where the government is less
    oppressive towards ethnic groups.

    A white guy in Sudan?
    Or the Congo?
    A white Christian guy?
    Must be suicidal ...

In many/most parts of the USA all that matters to some folks is that he
has a black ancestor. In fact, until recently someone with as little as
1/8 black blood would not be allowed to marry a white person in at least several states (e.g. Virginia, Louisiana). And someone who looks black
has to be extra careful when pulled over for a simple traffic violation.
So don't talk about how he was or was not raised -- that matters little

Let me correct myself: It appears that Obama was not raised black or white,
but it also appears that he was able to score some votes for having dark
skin and a shoddy sales pitch.

A man of all colors, having been raised white, black, and yellow.
What a nice combination. Score with all voters, regardless of what
color they consider themselves. Our most inclusive president ever!

What we do to overcome our own racism and bigotry is up to us.
Both as individuals and a society.

That's a good point- the "as a society" part.

Andrew Young said it first. When he was a kid he used to play
with a neighbor, who was white. But some of the neighbors got upset
and wanted him to play only with kids of his own color. He never
forgot those days, even though it was long ago in New Orleans.

Much has changed since then, but we still have a long way to go.
We should look at ourselves as being one community, not separate,
as America itself is an idea. An idea of one giant melting pot.
Where all can play as equals.

In my experiences, colors prefer to stay somewhat segregated. I like to see
that change, but not until it's safe to do so.

It is one thing to be proud of one's heritage. Quite another
to hate others due to race or ethnicity. We are more of a quilt,
rather than a homogeneous country (such as Japan). A quilt,
    woven together, but not xenophobic.

And I'm not sure how to make it happen either; there's not going to be many
    people agreeing with this.

A community that is divided into armed camps, some of those
camps gated so that none can enter, is no community at all.

Either we all live in peace, or this country devolves into chaos.

Remember the late 1960s? Imagine what happened in Chicago at the
Democratic Convention in 1968. Remember what happened in Washington
DC. Remember what happened in Los Angeles. Remember what happened
in Memphis. Remember what happened at Kent State ...

Everybody deserves a marker. But do you realize what is being
done for the homeless who die in America? Their bodies are cremated,

    That's another good point.

We do not treat the poor in this country well at all.
We treat the homeless even worse. And for those who die
with no money in their pockets? Oh, those are the worst
    of the worst ...

What's happened to the slaves is already buried in
    the past, where it belongs.

Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

We should never sugarcoat what happened, but accept the facts
being what they are. Never turn a blind eye, but show the world
we are man enough to accept our own shortcomings and always try
to make this a better place for all.

    We didn't do it them.

Yes, we did. The Framers of the Constitution deliberately
allowed slavery to continue, refusing to even recognize black
    folks as being human.

Those who enslaved them, did it legally.

So did Saudi Arabia, until very recently. And even now, slavery
continues to exist, although not officially.

There is nothing legal about human bondage. People cannot be
bought and sold, like cattle. Even after "legal" slavery came
to an end in this country due to the 13th Amendment, it was
still practiced in the form of indentured servitude. That did
not end until FDR put a stop to it.

We do have a form of slavery that continues with prison labor.
This was an exemption in the 13th Amendment. Please read it,
    and be amazed.

Let's do something for the homeless instead.

Especially homeless veterans. And homeless with mental issues.
And homelss children. And homeless everybody.

Everything ought to be free. And not just for black folks.

We should be able to pick fruit from trees and hunt for meat, but if you're
talking about getting a free meal from the grocery store, then that's a lot different.

What's wrong with getting a free lunch? Everybody wants one.
Just like MAGA hats. Everybody wants one. As long as somebody
    else is buying.

A free lunch is all black people ask.

Who? I haven't heard any black people asking for free lunch.

When one is asked if they want to join the party, the only
question neded to be asked is how much it costs. If no mention
of cost is made, it is a known fact the party is free for all.
    See how that works?

Usually, however, it is more of a statement rather than a question -

    "Come, join the party!"

Now that is an offer nobody can refuse ...

If I did hear someone ask for that, I'd buy them one if I had enough money
    to do so.

    "Come to the Mardi Gras!"

The world's biggest free party, in New Orleans.

But I definitely wouldn't go around saying "black people want free lunch"
just because one person asked for it.

There will be plenty free food to eat during Mardi Gras.
    Trust me, I know. :)

Changed where? Is Louisiana? I believe you - but it's not the same in all cities. I try to have that same open-mindedness as you and Dale, but I don't have a ton of faith in it. Slaves were liberated 160 years ago, mandatory segregation ended about 70 years ago, the Spanish-American war ended quite
some time ago, but I'm still surrounded by racial hatred, so it seems, so
then I just adapt to it by being polite, but self-segregating.

I think we're getting closer to that, but just not quite there yet. I've seen Indian nationals demonstrating racism in the workplace back in 2006, and American latinos doing the same thing even more recently. So let's keep positive that what you're saying will happen, and it's on its way, but we
just aren't there yet. Not until workplace discrimination stops and not until people stop telling people of other races to get out of their neighborhoods.

As far as blacks being held back due to being segregated, or any other downtrodden nonsense.
Anyone of any race can make it in America, if they are determined.

In many parts of the country black and brown people are severely discriminated against both socially and economically. That is not the
way it should be, but that is not the case in my city.

So the places where they are severely discriminated against as you have suggested, are these Democratic run Administrations?

    There's your sign.

No -- correct, and you post the statistic that confirms that my city has
a complete mix of many races. They do live together, peacefully, side
    by side.

Now that I know which city you're talking about - I lived and worked in Baltimore. Black people were cool with me being white there - and Indian
people were cool with me being white there - but the Indians didn't like
blacks one bit and they weren't shy about talking to me about it. Is that racial harmony? I know Baltimore is a different city, but how different?

Columbia MD is the same scenario a few miles away.

Democratic. Arizona is Republican. Washington DC is Democratic.
    North Carolina is Republican.

Prejudice cuts across areas where both parties have a majority.

New York City is some Republican? Where?
Minorities are far better off under a Trump Administration then they ever
    were before under Obama.

Re-vamped criminal justice system giving a people in jail/prison a second change at life.
Lowest Unemployment ever for minorities. Many of them are buying homes for
    the first time.

It is a well known fact that the Democratic Party has used and will
continue to minorities like pawns (playing the race card) to get elected and then disappear and do nothing for them, but promise much to get their vote.

Ya, but the Socialists.....er... Democrats will pass a regulation to stop such an industry - unless, of course, the Leftie elites are running those industries.

In the last Presidential Race 2016 nearly every single county outside of
NYC voted Republican, NYC voted Democrat. NY was rendered blue.
You could put NYC in Upstate nearly 3 times.

New York City is very Democratic and the infection that is the Democratic Party is infecting Albany, NY and it surrounding counties. Specially w/ the Democratic bail reform law, where people are committing crimes and within hours released back in the community.

    Crossgates Mall in Albany, NY
    -----------------------------

There have been fights with knocking over displays at the Hickory Farms
store around Christmas time in 2019, fights that start in the hood and then these thugs hop onto a CDTA bus and continue their violence and carnage at the mall.

Black Men entering womens rest rooms; holding two women.

Recently there were two black women who were in a fight and one cut the other, in the arm, where there was a trail of blood.

Of course these acts made the local news, but no mention anywhere of race. until now... but why, would it shame the black community, into forcing change into their unruly behavior. Anger Management classes. - Something...

However these news reports remain free from mentioning race, many believe it is considered wrong to define them by race. Can not call a spade a spade because then it would categorize these people as being uncivilized.

No, I'm not, the things I was mentioning were a direct result of Democratic policies. It's quite appalling to look at the aftermath of such acts, resulting in civil unrest particularly at a public place like at the mall.
Then when why is asked; "why is this happening?"
The origin of why is this happening as well as repeating over and over again
is because of these new democratic initiatives, such as the bail reform here
in New York State. So lighting up on blacks and holding a blind eye to the chaos & civil disorder will result to the innocent bystander getting seriously hurt or worse yet killed.

This type of lawlessness is not exclusive to Albany, New York.
This ugliness shows it's face all across America, and is dominant within Democratic cities, run by Democratic administrations.

What's next? Stray bullets at the mall?
