    Greetings,

    Ive finally got golded working, (although im logged into bbs atm) I had a couple of clarifying questions if you all dont mind.

    Has anyone successfully imported a areas.bbs type file from mystic?
    Is there a way to make golded send on msgpost like mystic does or does it
    just send on program close?
    Finally, I have taglines turned on and it points at a .txt file in the
    expected directory, something Im missing?

    Not yet. I use Golded with Mystic as you case see. :) I used a text editor
    that has a columm mode which allows me to copy and paste a column of echo
    tage and file paths Etc from a areas file to the Golded.cfg file. Golded+ currently doesn't look to have the ability to read Mystic's messagebase
    via an AREAFILE.

    I never tried.
    I do not use Mystic.

    When you save a message golded immediately saves it into the msgbase.
    It is now your tossers job to detect it and send it out.
    I run hpt periodically, and it sends out new messages while I still have my golded opened.

    I do not know, as I have not seen your config.

    I have this in my golded.cfg

    TAGLINESUPPORT Yes
    TAGLINE @/home/fido/ascii/taglines.txt

    TAGLINESUPPORT YES
    TAGLINE @c:\golded\tag\taglines

    the taglines file in that directory is a list of taglines all of seperate lines... Nothing in front of them

    Looks like file is not reachable. Just tested it and it is working for me.

    Wrong permissions? Why have different capitals there (anyway).

    That is fine.
    Golded tries to add taglines.

    TAGLINE @c:\golded\tag\taglines

    if you do dir c:\golded\tag what do you get?
    If you do type c:\golded\tag\taglines what do you get?

    You need to enter the full path and name of a textfile with the taglines.

    eg c:\golded\taglines.txt
    when taglines.txt is a textfile with many taglines, and the file is in the c:\golded directory.

    Thank you Mark, intially I had had it that way and it still didnt go, However when I removed the C: from the string it worked, kind of surprised me.
